Biography

George Joseph Hall was born 20 Apr 1837 in Canada.

He arrived in the united states in 1841 from Canada.

In 1850, he was attending school and living in Hinesburgh, Chittenden, Vermont[1]

In 1856 he was married to Elizabeth A. Hazaard, three years later on 29 Dec 1859, elizabeth died at age 21 in Ferrisburg, Addison County, Vermont, USA, the couple had no children.[2]

In 1860, he married Mary A. Morrison, on 14 Dec 1926 (aged 84) she died in Bristol, Addison County, Vermont, USA[3] They had two sons in 1862 and 1866

On August 20, 1870 he married Theresa Train in Hokah, Houston, Minnesota.

Three years after there marriage, there son Howard was born in January of 1874. Unfortunately he died ten months later on November 24.Three years later in 1877 there daughter Ida Belle was born in September.

In 1880, the family was living in La Crescent, Houston, Minnesota. It consisted of his wife Theresa P.28 and there two year old daughter Ida Belle[4]

In 1900 george and his family was living in Newburg, Yamhill, Oregon. On a farm that he owned with a mortgage. Whare he worked as a farmer. He lived there with his wife Theresa 49, there two children Ida 22 and Florence 18. Living with them now is his father Horatio N Hall, age 88.

He died on 21 Mar 1923 in Santa Ana, Orange, California. His body was then transported to Newberg, Yamhill County, Oregon, whare he was buried in the friends cemetery, the plot is located at Original, Block 65, Grave 2[5].
