Biography

Maria Anna, Archduchess of Austria (Erzherzogin von Österreich) was the second, but eldest surviving daughter of Ferdinand II, Holy Roman Emperor, and his first wife, Maria Anna of Bavaria and was born at Graz on 13 January 1610.

She married at Vienna, on 15 July 1635, her uncle, Maximilian I, Elector of Bavaria, as his second wife.
