Research notes

At this stage the only valid source on this profile only confirms that Jean Guyon des Granches accompanied Jacques Cartier on his first voyage to Canada. (Des compagnons de Cartier, mentionnons deux beaux-frères : Guyon Des Granches, vicomte de Beaupré, et le pilote Macé Jalobert... http://www.biographi.ca/fr/bio/cartier_jacques_1491_1557_1F.html)

The parents of Jacques Cartier's wife are named on his (Cartier's) Fichier Origine. This would indirectly confirm Jean Guyon's parents. No reliable source for his wife or any of his children. Rassinot-1 21:53, 14 September 2019 (UTC)

The link to perche-quebec.com refers to a totally different person.
Guyon Des Granches-1 and Guyon-139 appear to represent the same person because: Please review Jean Guyon (Guyon-139) with Jean Guyon Des Granches (Guyon Des Granches-1) for possible merge: dates are similar however there are issues with spouses.
