Biography

William was named in the will of his father Robert Gresham of Metheringham, Lincolnshire, in 1741.^[1]

William Gresham of Hare Booth in the parish of Horsington, Lincolnshire, was the executor of the will of his brother Robert Gresham of Hare Booth on 21 March 1774.^[1]

William Gresham, farmer of Horsington, made his last will and testament on 11 September 1781, naming his brother Thomas Gresham, his sisters Elizabeth Gray and Jane Sympson, and all of his nephews and nieces. He left £70 to Elizabeth Kitching, and the residue of his estate to Mark Kitching whom he made sole executor. The will was unsuccessfully challenged by his nephew John Quincy; probate was confirmed to Mark Kitching on 20 December 1781.^[1]

William Gresham of Horsington was buried at Stixwould, Lincolnshire, on 18 September 1781.^[2]
