Biography
Robert Gresham and Susannah Chapman, both of Metheringham, married at Kirkby on Bain, Lincolnshire, on 10 October 1709.[1]
Robert Gresham of Metheringham made his last will and testament on 2 July 1741 naming his eldest son Robert Gresham, his other sons John Gresham, Thomas Gresham and William Gresham, his daughters Elizabeth Gresham, Anne Cosins, Mary Gresham and Jane Gresham, and his son in law George Cosins. He made his wife and son Robert joint executors. Witnesses were William Holland, Edward Gresham and Jos. Gresham. The will was proved at Lincoln on 21 August 1741 by Robert Gresham his son, with power reserved to his widow.[2]
