Biography
Content Greenman was the first of the four wives of Walter Clarke.[1][2] Austin's Genealogical Dictionary of Rhode Island identifies her as a daughter of John Greenman.
Walter Clarke and Content (Greenman) Clarke had three children:[1]
- Mary, born or baptized 11 January 1661.
- Content
- A son, name not recorded.
Content Clarke died in Newport, Rhode Island, on 27 May 1666, at the age of 30.[3]
