Biography
Mary was the daughter of Robert Green (Greene) of Navestock. Robert was buried within the chancel of St Peter's Weald. Mary was buried St Peter South Weald Co Essex, England.

Her mother in some genealogy sources is listed as Frideswold Wright but that is likely a descendant instead of an ancestor.

Note - Robert's children, who you can see don't match Mary's children: ROBERT WRIGHT, son of John and Olive Wright.. Married Mary, daughter of Robert Green of Navestock, Essex.He lived at Brook Hall (the Moat House), Brook St., South Weald.He died January 25th 1587 and was buried in South Weald Church. Children:
- John Wright, dsp
- Robert Wright, baptized June 30th, 1542; died young.
- Katherine Wright, baptized march 20th, 1544. Married William Kent, Nov. 28th, 1565.
- Olive Wright, married Richard Thresher, Oct. 19th, 1563.
- Dorothy Wright, married John Hatch, May 28th, 1566.
- Thomas Wright of Brook Hall (the Moat House) m. Roberdye Pake
The manor of Navestock was occupied by Richard Green, who leased it from St. Paul's in 1526 for 40 years at £50. The manor was the property of the King in 1544, and was sold in 1554 to Sir Edward Waldegrave (d. 1561), whose descendants became the Earls Waldegrave.[1]
The bottom line is Greene-38 almost certainly wasn't her father, her father was probably related to Richard Green (or was Richard Greene). Considering how gentry families intermarried, despite the note Wright-592 makes sense as her mother since she was from the same parish.

Robert Greene, who married Frideswold Wright, is the son of Robert Wright’s sister Katherine (see link to Greene entry in Essex Visitations on Katherine’s profile, or in comment I added to Frideswold’s profile.) On the Greene visitation entry Frideswold Wright is stated as being the daughter of a Wright of Debden.
