Biography

Ida (Grayson) Seithers was born in Appalachia, in Kentucky.

Ida Alice Grayson was born on 21 May 1881 in Fleming County, Kentucky, United States, daughter of John Henry Grayson and Martha Emeline Lucas.

In the 1900 census Ida (age 19) was the single daughter of John H Grayson in Magisterial District 3, Fleming County, Kentucky.[1]

Ida married Frank Seithers (1880-1937). They had three known children together.

In the 1910 census Ida (age 28) was the wife of Frank Seithus in Magisterial District 3, Fleming, Kentucky, United States.[2]

In the 1920 census Ida (age 38) was the wife of Frank Seithers in Mount Carmel, Fleming, Kentucky.[3]

In the 1930 census Ida (age 48) was the wife of Frank Suthers in District 3, Fleming, Kentucky, United States.[4]

In the 1940 census Ida (age 57), widowed, was residing with son Otho (age 25) and his wife Opal Seithers (age 24) in Magisterial District 4, Fleming County, Kentucky.[5]

In the 1950 census Ida (age 67) was the widowed head of household in Mount Carmel, Fleming, Kentucky.[6]

Ida died (age 85) on 27 June 1966 in Flemingsburg, Fleming, Kentucky[7][8][9] and was buried in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Mount Carmel, Fleming, Kentucky.[10]
