John Ronald Gray (known as "Jack") was born on 28 JUN 1865 at Broughton Creek NSW to William Gray and Mary Ann Irvine.

He married Clara Ellen Stanford in 1890 at Lismore NSW.

John Robert Gray ("Jack") passed away on 6 APR 1932 at Balmain North NSW. He was laid to rest in the in the grounds of the Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium NSW.

OBITUARY MR. J. R. GRAY

Word was received in Lismore yesterday of the passing of an old Lismore resident in the person of John Robert Gray, whose death took place in the Balmain Hospital yesterday morning. The late Mr Gray was born on the South Coast, and came to Lismore many years ago, where he followed the coach building trade. He removed from Lismore to Sydney and was employed there many years by Wood Coffill and Co. A widow and grown up family survive.
