Marie Marguerite Granger was born about December 1781 in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, New Spain. Her parents were Jean Baptiste Granger and Susanne Cormier.[1]

Marguerite Granger married Celestin Landry of Lafourche, son of Joseph Rene Landry and Marie Rose Melanson, on 8 May 1810 in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.[2]

Their known children were:

  2. Marguerite Cidalise Landry (1812– )
  3. Francoise Landry (1814–1816)
  4. Euphrasie Landry, twin (1817–1818)
  5. Unnamed Infant Landry, twin (1817–1817)

She was widowed in 1837.[3]
