Biography

Jean Pierre Granger was born on March 25, 1786 in Opelousas, Louisiana, New Spain, son of Jean Baptiste Granger (~1753–1842) and Susanne Cormier (~1760–1800).[1]


Jean (22) married Reine Angele Gautreaux (14) (born on September 15, 1794 in Plattenville, Assumption, Louisiana, New Spain; daughter of Marin Gautrot and Marguerite Angelle Dubois) on October 19, 1808 in Assumption, Louisiana.[2][3]

Their known children were:

In 1850, Jean (64) was living in Lafayette, Louisiana.[5]
