António (Gomez Carvajal) Gomez migrated from Atarfe, Spain to Hawai'i.

António Francisco Gomez Carvajal was born about 1848 in Atarfe, Spain.^[1][2] He was the son of Francisco Eugenio Gomez Moreno and Maria Dolores Carvajal Delgado.^[2]

António married Servanda "Silvanda" Romero Martin on the 30th of May 1874 in Albolote, Granada.^[2][3] António was twenty-six when they married. Their daughter Minnie was born in Atarfe on the 16th of February 1899.^[4]

António migrated aboard the Ascot to Hawai'i with his family, arriving on the 4th of June 1913.^[5] He was sixty-five years old, his wife was fifty-seven.^[5] Their son Juan Gomez Romero was denied entry, while Minnie (age fourteen) was admitted.^[5]
