Henry Gleason is an American Patriot (see sourcesbelow)
Henry was born in 1750 at Oxford, Massachusetts to parents Aaron and Eunice. [1] Many of the Gleasons living in Worcester, Massachusetts were tempted by cheap land prices in a new plantation called Myrifield. This community was later renamed "Rowe" and Henry was one of its original settlers. [2]
He and many other family members served in the Revolutionary War. Henry was a private who responded to alarms and marched in the Ticonderoga campaign. [3] He is listed as a patriot ancestor by the Daughters of the American Revolution; his ancestor number is A045415. He served under Capt. Chapin, Taylor, in the Myrfield, Massachusetts Minute Men. in Massachusetts [4]
There is an unsourced death date commonly cited as September 4, 1835.

Henry and his wife had several children [5]
and by the US Census of 1790, Henry and family had moved to Halfmoon, Saratoga, New York. [6]
