Gilbert Gerard was born about 1618, the second son of Gilbert Gerard and Mary Barrington. [1]
He died in 1683 and was buried at Harrow on the Hill, Middlesex, England.[2]

Entry in the Cambridge Alumni page consistent with the wikipedia article related to Gilbert Gerard, states that he was of Essex, but does not give his parents or any other details about his life.
