Robert was born in 1898 and was the son of Harry Gascoyne and Annie McCarthy. [1] He died in 1917. [2][3]

Military Service

James served as a Rifleman in the Rifle Brigade in WW1, but got killed on 28 Apr 1917. [4] [5][6] He was awarded the British War Medal and Victory Medal [7][8] and the Memorial Death Plaque.
