Note: According to the 1930 census, Julia's daughter, Ella, was listing as having a French-Canadian mother. This corroborates Julia Garrow's being French-Canadian.

" The sad tidings came to us Sunday morning that our much respected and loved neighbor, Mrs. Wm. Budd, had passed into the brighter world. The funeral services were held at the home and the large concourse of friends and the floral offerings showed the high esteem in which she was held. Through her death the neighborhood has lost a true Christian helper and sympathizer; the family has lost a true wife and mother, whose loss can never be regained.
