Garrison-2323 and Garrison-1386 appear to represent the same person because: they share a similar birth year in the same town of Elyton, Jefferson County, AL, along with some of the same children. The difference in death years needs to be rectified.
Okay, from what I'm seeing, husband John Luther d. 1829, this makes sense as to why Melinda was listed as HoH in 1830 census.
Marriage date may be a little off though... 9 children in 19 years is kinda pushing it, and I would expect Malinda to be the one dying in 1829 if that was the case. Plus eldest child is listed as being born in 1808... 9 children in 23 years fits much better with the law of averages.
Husband Henry is a bit of a mystery though. Maybe a second husband? Needs more research.
Garrison-3781 and Garrison-1386 appear to represent the same person because: Hmmm, obviously the same person, but did she marry John Luther or Henry? This is where source citations are vital to resolving the differences between different ancestor's research. These 2 need to be merged, but we need to get some sources in place so we can decide on some of the details.
