My name is Bobby Rawls from Big Spring, Texas. I have a tremendous amount of documentation and information on the Rawls and Ralls families.
YOUR WILLIS RALLS is NOT the Willis Jonah Ralls that married Nancy West!
That Willis Ralls a d wife Nancy West lived and DIED in Craven county, North Carolina
The Willis Ralls of Kentucky and Tennessee is related to me via Y-DNA and David Allen Ralls whom is a DIRECT descendant of your Willis Ralls is in charge of the Rawls and Ralls Y DNA project in FTDNA.
I believe that you created the profile Partridge-963 / James Partridge, born Isle of White County, Virginia; who apparently married a Frances Penny. There are no references, and no sources cited for any info.
Do you know anything more about them, to give me some basis for starting research? When they were born, even within 20 years, would help me. Any names of parents, siblings or offspring?
If you cannot help, I will use the profile to cover another known Partridge.
How are you? I'm David a WikiTree Mentor. Thanks for adding profiles to WikiTree. There are reasons behind the eighth point in our Honor Code: "We cite sources. Without sources we can't objectively resolve conflicting information." A source provides a way to find out more about the person. Showing sources reduces confusion and duplicates.
I took the liberty and made some changes to the profile of Reuben Matthews-9398 by adding Research Notes. Anytime you do not have certain information on a given date there must be given a Explanation and sources used to explain the theory. I would like to work with you on sourcing your recently adopted profiles. And must ask that you discontinue adopting more profiles until your current watch-list is sourced. Please remember that Without sources we can't objectively resolve conflicting information. Feel free to reach out to me via Private Message and we can continue dialog via Email.
Robin Lee shared this After Adopting Orphans FAQ with you which explains the special attention those profiles need.
You've just adopted more profiles and still have more than 200 profiles which are unsourced. Please don't adopt anymore until you have shown these profiles the love they deserve.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up gedcom biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!
Thank you, Ryan, for the merger of Martin Dehart and his wife Martha Ann Shepherd. I am descended from a brother of Martha. Btw: I added that Martin was a justice of the peace for Macon County, NC, probably in the part that became Swain County. Again, Thanks!
It appears that you have adopted a number of Pre-1500 profiles. If you are not certified to work Pre-1500 profiles you will not be able to make edits or changes to those early profiles even though you are now the profile manager.. You may want to look into the requirements for Pre-1500 certification and the process involved in obtaining certification.

I found some duplicates and proposed some merges, if you need help, just ask.

Here is what our Sources help page says. It has lots of ideas: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources
The Sources Style Guide shows how to enter sources in the biography.
Please do not adopt anymore orphaned profiles until you go back and source the profiles you created and the ones you have adopted.
And I'm here to help too, just ask!
