DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships.
Paternal line Y-chromosome DNA test-takers:
The record that I have shows my Rebecca Ripley was married to Gershom Smith on 6 June 1698. Gershom Smith didn't die until after 1718 (the birth of their last known child, Gershom Smith, Jr.). So I can't see how my Rebecca (Ripley) Smith could be the same woman who married John Gardner/ Gardiner/Garnett. More research needs to be done before I would merge the two profiles.
Garnett-617 and Gardiner-958 appear to represent the same person because: Same person. There is a link in the Bio on Garnett-617 to his birth record which indicates his LNAB was Garnett. Please merge. Thanks, Janis
Gardiner-958 and Garnet-77 are not ready to be merged because: I can't be sure of the last name as there is no sources to confirm what it is. Even the family listed as some last names spelt Gardiner and others have Garnet.
