Biography

Richard Gapes was born in 1873 in Tower Hill, Victoria, Australia[1], son of Richard Gapes (1838 - 1923) and Sarah (Porter) Gapes (>1840 - 1929).

His siblings were:

Richard married Alice Brooks in 1905 in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.[2]

Richard died after 1948 in Western Australia aged >75. He is buried in Kalgoorlie Cemetery, Kalgoorlie–Boulder, Kalgoorlie-Boulder City, Western Australia, Australia.[3][4]
