Biography

Catherine Freimeir or Frymeyer was born in 1811.^[1] She was the daughter of John Jacob Frymeyer and Catherine Shade.

Catherine Frymeyer (aka Frymoyer or Freimeir) was married to John Fegley.^[2] The couple were parents of the following known children:

Mary Anna Fegley Rebuck^[3] whose death certificate cites her mother as "Katie Frymoyer."

Wilhelmina Fegley Latsha^[4] whose death certificate specifically states her mother's maiden name "Frymoyer."

Martin Fegley^[5] whose death certificate specifically names his mother "Katie Fryemoyer."

She passed away in 1873.^[6]

Research Note

Catherine Frymeyer is often confused with Catherine Reitz, the wife of her husband's cousin, John Fegley.
