Biography

Leander Adrian Francis was born on the 23rd of September, 1903 in Ferndale, California. His parents were Frederick Llewlyn Francis and Almeda Emeline Miner. Frederick and Almeda had married on the 21st of December, 1892 in Ferndale, Humboldt, California and had four children together. The four children were: Craig Miner, Nathalie, Leander Adrian and Jacquelyn, E. Francis.

The family moved from Ferndale, California to Portland, Oregon sometime between 1903 and 1911.

Leander married Gladys F. Junkin on the 2nd of July, 1932 in Portland, Oregon.

They had a daughter named Almeda Jeanne Francis.

Leander passed away on the 17th of December, 1935 in either Roseberg or Tigard, Oregon.
