Biography

Frederick Llewlyn Francis was born in 1864 in California. His parents were Francis Francis and Grace Roberts. They were married on the 11th of December, 1846 in Jo Daviess, Illinois and had immigrated to California where they helped found the town of Ferndale.

Frederick had siblings named: Margaret Phillipa, Mary Blance, Eugene, Clara, Amelia Grace, Richard Henry Cleury and Decima Ap Francis.

Frederick married Almeda E. Miner on the 21st of December, 1892 in Humboldt, California. Together they had four children: Craig Miner, Nathalie, Leander Adrian and Jacquelyn E. Francis.

By 1910 the family was living in Portland, Oregon. In 1932 the family was living at 348 E. 41st St in Portland, Oregon.

Frederick passed away in 1932. His wife Almeda, known as "Nana Francis" to her grandchildren and great grandchildren lived to age 102 and passed away in October of 1974.

Frederick and Almeda have descendants living in Oregon and Washington.^[1]
