Biography

Emma (Francis) Bickford was born in Warwickshire, England.

Emma was born to Timothy and Mary Ann Francis in Coventry Warwick England in 1832 .This reference says she was baptized at the Holy Trinity church in 1851 ^[1] Since the Victorian records say she married in 1852 it is possible she was baptized before leaving on the journey to Australia. Her father Timothy was a watchmaker in Freeth Street. In 1852. Her sister Mary Ann Francis was baptized at the same time, she was born in 1835. ^[2]

After time working on the Victorian goldfields the family moved to farming in Moulemein NSW.

Emma Bickford died in Moulamein NSW in 1906. ^[6]
