Biography

Jean Claude Fougeron was born on January 1, 1749 in Petit-Magny, Belfort, Franche-Comté, France, son of Nicolas Fougeron (1723–1801) and Jeanne Claudia Corre (1722–1791). Jean Claude Fougeron is the only reported child of Nicolas Fougeron and Jeanne Claudia Corre of Petitmagny. The godparents were Jean Claude Corre and Jeanne Claudia Marechal.

Jean (22) married Francoise Henneman (21) (born on February 9, 1750 in Grosmagny, Territoire de Belfort, France; daughter of Benoit Henneman and Marie Barbe Pero) on April 29, 1771 in Petit-Magny. Their children were:
