Adelaide (Forwood) Leach was born in Kent, England.
Adelaide was baptised on July 26, 1840 at St George's Church in Ramsgate, Kent, England. She is the daughter of John Forwood and Susan Fuggle.
She married Henry Leach on November 5, 1864 at Saint Giles, Camberwell, Southwark, Surrey, England. She was of full age, a spinster, resided at Beaconsfield Buckingham and her father John Forwood was a merchant. The groom was of full age, a bachelor, a Gentleman, resided at The Crescent, Clifton Grove and his father William Leach's occupation was Gentleman. Witnesses were J. M. Leach and Emily Sarah Forwood, the bride's sister.[1]
