Emily died at the age of 90 years, 3 months and 21 days on September 19, 1928 in St Petersburg, Pinellas, Florida and was buried there on September 20th in Greenwood Cemetery. She was widowed, a retired school teacher and her address was 535 10th St. No. Cause of death was senility duration 2 years.^[14]

Research Notes

Her Florida death certificate states that her date of birth was May 20, 1838 but the person giving information had no idea exactly where she was born and no idea who either of her parents were so it's questionable whether they knew her exact DOB - because of all that, her year of birth has been used on its own in her bio.
