Biography
Marguerite Emma was born in 1845. She is the daughter of Luc Clément Fortin and Marie Thècle Lecompte. From his second marriage with Thècle Lecompte celebrated on august 29, 1842, Captain Luc Fortin had 4 other children among which 3 daughters, Joséphine, Emma and Malvina, who joined the convent and became nuns with the Ladies of Notre-Dame.
