- 19 Feb 1767 - Articles of agreement between Peter Bonneau of the Parish of Saint Thomas, Berkley County in the Province of South Carolina of the first part, George Foord of Prince George’s Parish Craven County in the said Province and Mary Foord Daughter of the said George Foord of the second Part and William Shackelford and Stephen Ford, both of Prince Georges Parish in the said Province of the Third Part.
- Whereas a marriage is intended by Gods permission shortly to be had and solemnized between the said Peter Bonneau and Mary Ford…
- Received the 27th June 1767 of the within mentioned George Ford the sum of two thousand pounds being the first payment of the within mentioned sum.
- Received the 2d day of March 1769 of the within mentioned George Ford the sum of two thousand pounds being in full for the [page covered] money within mentioned.
