Martha was born about 1745 in Greenwich, Fairfield, Connecticut Colony. She was the daughter of Jonathan Fiske and Abigail Charity (Mead) Fiske.

She married Gideon Mead in 1760 New York.

She died on 13 Oct 1813 in Chester, Warren, New York.
