Biography

John was born in Chester, Pennsylvania in 1867 as the fourth child of Nesbit and Caroline (Walleigh) Finger. He and his oldest brother, William Howard Finger, moved to Canton, Ohio. John married Mary Jane Blyar in 1895 and they had seven children. He died tragically after being struck by a car while walking at five points in Canton, Ohio. He was 75 years old and is buried with his wife Mary in North Lawn Cemetery in Canton, Ohio.
