Biography
Morna Fell was born on 6th April 1883 at New Zealand. She was the daughter of Alfred Fell and Alice Fell. [1]
Morna married New Zealand-born British Army Captain, Francis Earl Johnston in 1907 at New Zealand. [2]
Whilst Francis was deployed to Egypt and then Gallipoli during The Great War, Morna accompanied him, residing in Cairo, Egypt. She fell ill, and died on 15th December 1915 at Cairo; her husband, by then a Colonel in the New Zealand Expeditionary Force, beside her. She was just 32 years of age. [3]
