Biography

Nathaniel Fegley was born in 1844.[1] He was the eldest son of John Fegley and Catherine Reitz. His parents were from Northumberland County, Pennsylvania, but moved to Columbia County by 1850.

Nathaniel Fegley was married to Sarah Bowdoin. The couple were living at Wilkes- Barre in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania by the 1880 Census.[2] Nathaniel Fegley was a cabinet maker in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania from at least 1880 until his death in 1925.

When Nathaniel Fegley's mother, Catherine Reitz Fegley died in 1888, he wrote a letter to the Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania court. In this letter, he waived his right as the eldest son to administer his mother's estate. He specifically named his sister Caroline and brother-in-law Hiram Zimmerman, who he nominated as the estate administrator.[3]

Nathaniel Fegley passed away in 1925.[4] He is buried at the Hillside Cemetery in Columbia County, Pennsylvania.
