Biography
The son of Conrad Fegley (Voegly) (1764-1827) and Anna Catharina Fuchs (1765-1815), John was born in New Hanover Township, Pennsylvania in 1797.[1] He was baptized in New Hanover on April 16, 1979.[2] His siblings included:

Anna Fegley (1806-1897)
Abraham Fegley married Maria (Fillman) Fegley, the daughter of Henry Fillman and Sophia Kepner, marrying in New Hanover Township on May 1, 1819[3] and having six known children together. They made their home in Douglass Township, in Montgomery County.[4][5][6] His occupation is listed on the 1870 census, when he was 73 years old; he worked then as blacksmith. He and his wife resided in the household of farmer Emerick Frederick.[7]
Abraham Fegley passed away at the age of 76 and is buried at Union Cemetery in Sassamansville, Pennsylvania.[8]
