Death and Burial

Letitia Ann Featherston Menzies died on 27 Mar 1929 in New Zealand. ^[2] She was buried in Mar 1929 in Wyndham, Southland, New Zealand. ^[2]

A Press Association message from Invercargill announces the death of Mrs. Menzies, widow of Dr. Menzies, who was Superintendent of Southland, at the age of 83. The deceased was a daughter of Dr. Featherston, Superintendent of Wellington and first Agent-General of New Zealand. She was noted for her philanthropy and public spirit.^[4]
