Rejected matches › Katherine (Farrar) Barnett (abt.1700-abt.1763)
This could be a case of two people being conflated into one.An all too frequent occurrence.
I don't know how to rectify such errors,however Farrar-98 married John Barnett, that much is known and testified to by researchers of the Farrar and Barnett lines.
I doubt seriously that this other Katherine Barnett Farrar ever lived. The profile, so long as it exists, will constantly be attempted to merge. Profiles can't be deleted. My solution is to change the dates of the newer profile to agree with the older and then merge them. That solves the problem.
I have absolutely no concern or fear that there are two different Katherine Barnett Farrars. There could be another Katherine Barnett, but not one born a Farrar. My informed opinion is that the duplicate profile was created by a Barnett descendant who was working from a faulty data base.
I removed the connection to spouse and father to make it easier to merge. I also deleted a rejected merge. I do not understand why that merge was rejected because they clearly were the same person. If someone was concerned about the children of John Barnett and Katherine then they should check the profile of Farrar-98
