Ann Elinor and her husband Richard Cheney did have a son Richard, but he did in adolescence and never left England. The son Richard is NOT Richard Cheney, immigrant to Maryland, whose parents are as yet unknown.
I finalized the merge of two Anne Ellinor profiles. Others are more knowledgeable of this family than I, so I will let them clean up the biography. There isn't really that much. One note on the death of Anne Ellinor Cheney, I don't think a valid source to her death should be a Find-a-Grave submission that sites Ancestry as a source. ;) Also, if she was the mother of Richard Cheney who was born in 1630, the date should be changed to "after 1630". I applaud all those who are untangling the Cheney family. Thank you.
I see Anne Ellinor married Richard Cheney on June 3, 1622 -- and also died on the same day. One should NOT conclude from this that she is a preying mantis, however, because with the mantis, it is the male who dies on the date of the marriage.
Note -- old references to geocities no longer work, however, when "geocities" is changed to "oocities" it links to a mirrored cite that contains the old postings.
