Biography
Giles was born about 1811.
Giles worked as a farmer.
He married by license on 13 October 1834 in the Parish Church, Cherington, Warwickshire to Sarah Haydon. Richard Haydon and Elizabeth Haydon stood as their witnesses. [1]
They settled at Great Brook Place Farm, Sundridge Upland. Kent. 1 Giles and Sarah had 4 children by the time of the 1841 Census, Sarah, Giles, Thomas and Patience.

A 3rd son William Jackson Edwards was born in 1843 followed by daughters Mary and Kate. Giles was able to employ staff on the farm.
Giles Edwards died in Kent and left a Will. The will was proved on 28 January 1856. His executor was named as Richard Haydon. His Will refers to the property at Sundridge and his bequest to Sarah.
NB Two Giles Edwards, both farmers, were living in Kent. One in Hadlow and the other at Sunridge. 1 Only one Death record was found for a Giles Edwards in 1854 Oct/Dec Qtr.
