Rosanna was the daughter of Elisha Eaton (1798–1893) and Zimrode Almira Ingraham (1806–1848), who married about 1824 in Ohio.
In 1850, Rosanna (age 9) lived in Summerhill, Cayuga County, New York, with her parents, Elisha (age 51) and Zimrode (age 44), and her siblings: Edwin (age 23), Ann (age 26), Zoe (age 22), and Tirhin (age 18). A New York woman, Betsey Hazard (age 17), lived with the family. Everyone had been born in New York. Elisha was a farmer with $2,000 in real estate. His sons, Edwin and Turpin [Tirhin], worked the farm with him.
On 23 May 1858, Rosanna married Daniel Webster Haskell in New York. They had a daughter:

In the Civil War, Daniel was a private in Company F of the 9th Regiment of New York Heavy Artillery. He died of dysentery in Louisiana on July 25, 1863, and is buried in Indian Mound Cemetery, Moravia, Cayuga County, New York.
In 1865, Rosanna (age 25) was a war widow living in Summerhill with her daughter, Cora Zoe Haskell (age 6), her father-in-law and mother-in-law, John Haskell (age 72) and Polly Hayford Haskell (age 62), and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Samuel Hayford Haskell (age 27) and Sarah Maria Marble Haskell (age 21).
In 1870, Rosanna (age 30) lived in Summerhill with her daughter, Cora Zoe (age 11) and her mother-in-law, Polly Hayford Haskell (age 67). Polly had $1,000 in real estate and $150 in personal property.
In 1875, Rosanna (age 33) lived in Summerhill with Cora (age 16).
In 1880, Rosanna (age 39) and Cora (age 21) lived in Groton, Tompkins County, New York. Cora was a teacher.
