Harry was born in 1864 in Hanborough, Oxfordshire[1]. He was the illegitimate son of Ann Eaton.
Marriage
Henry Long and Elizabeth Buckingham were married after banns in Church Hanborough, Oxfordshire on 27th December 1890[2]. They were bachelor and spinster and both living in Hanborough. Henry was 25, a labourer and said he was the son of William Long who was a labourer. Elizabeth was 22 and the daughter of George Buckingham who was a labourer. They each signed their own name on the register and the witnesses to the marriage were Arthur Buckingham and Minnie Martin[3].
