In DODGE CITY, by Tom Clavin (2017), Tom says that Virgil married Rozilla Draggoo on May 30, 1870, in Lamar, MO. They were married by Nicholas Earp, Justice of the Peace. Rozilla was just seventeen. (This would indicate that she was born in 1863.) Tom further reports that both Nicholas and Virgil were listed as grocers in the 1870 Census.
