DISAMBIGUATION NOTES: [[Bullen-506 ] Halsey Bullen]]

Elizabeth Durkee was born in Windham on 28 Nov 1737, but not to the man profiled here. This birth was recorded in the Windham records twice, once attributing her to her actual parents Deacon William and Elizabeth, once attributing her incorrectly to the man profiled here, Capt. William and his wife Abigail. The Barbour transcription of the incorrect version includes a note "Sd. Elizabeth belongs to Dea.Durge"[2] Furthermore, her birth date is too close to the birthdates of Sarah and Hannah to fit in the family profiled here. Therefore, she has been removed from this William and recorded as the child of the correct William Durkee

Benjamin Durkee and Asa Durkee are connected as children of William and Abigail, but there is no record of either in Windham vital records, and their profiles are devoid of sources other than the GEDCom from which they were created. Apparently should be merged away or at least disconnected from their purported parents.
