Biography
Johanna was born about 1867 in Brighton, Sussex, the daughter of Patrick Driscoll, an Irish-born hawker and his wife Mary, believed to be nee Delaney.
Johanna appears in the 1871 Census with her parents and 5 older siblings in Brighton.[1]
In the 1881 Census she is still in Brighton.[2]
She married Henry Amos Tuppin/Tuppen in Brighton in 1888.[3] They had 6 children.[4][5][6]
Between 1911 and 1914 she and Henry and their younger children migrated to Perth, Western Australia. They returned to England during WW1 with Henry working as a bricklayer. Johanna and Henry and one daughter returned to Perth in 1919.
She died in Subiaco, Western Australia in 1944.[7][8]
