Biography

Florence (Doman) Pattinson was born in the Colony of South Australia (1836-1900)

Florence Ethel Doman was born in 1900 in Norwood, South Australia (Australia). She was the fourth and youngest daughter of Tom Doman and Sarah Durrant. [1]

Florence married Baden Pattinson in 1926 in Norwood. [2]

Baden was a member of the South Australian Parliament from 1930 to 1938 and 1947 to 1965. He was the State's Minister of Education from 1953 to 1965. When Baden was knighted in 1962, Florence became entitled as Lady Pattinson.

Aged about 99 years, and having been widowed for 21 years, Lady Pattinson passed away in 1999 in South Australia. [3]
