Sarah Jane (Dobson) Allen was born on 21 April 1827 in New Brunswick, Canada, daughter of George John Dobson (about 1786–1871) and Lavinnia (Polly) Dobson (1792–1881).[1]
Sarah and Benjamin T Allen were married on 10 August 1842 in Westmorland, New Brunswick. Benjamin was born on 24 April 1822 in Botsford, Westmorland, New Brunswick. He was the son of George Allen and Charlotte Letitia (Thompson) Allen. Their children were:
