Biography
Jean Baptiste Guion was born and baptized on 7 May 1764 in Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola parish of Cap-Saint-Ignace, Province of Québec. His parents were Joseph Joachim (Guion) Dion and Marguerite Fournier. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Pierre Landry and Ursule Gamache. The officiating priest was J. F. Curot.[1]
Marriage
Jean Baptiste Guyon married Anne Ouellet, daughter of André Ouellet and Marie Louise Gagnon, on 11 Aug 1789 in Saint-Ignace-de-Loyola parish of Cap-Saint-Ignace. In the presence of known witnesses the fathers of both spouses, Antoine Jalbert, Joseph Fournier, capitaine, Charles Riverin, Antoine and François Guyon, brothers of the groom, and André Ouellet, brother of the bride. The celebrant priest was Paquet.[2]

Jean Baptiste Dion married Marie Soulange, widow of Joseph Constantino, on 21 Aug 1827 in Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire parish of Saint-Hyacinthe, Bas-Canada..[3]
