Anne (Dillon) Lalor was born in Ireland.
Anne (b. DILLON) LALOR was born about 1785, daughter of Patrick Dillon of Shaen near Maryborough, Co Laois, Ireland. [1]
- Ann DILLON married Patrick LALOR in 1806 and they had thirteen children:
- James Fintan Lalor (b March 10th 1807, d 27/12/1849)
- Margaret Lalor (b August 1st 1808, died young)
- William Lalor (b July 23 1810, d 5/11/1892 Dunn Co. Wisconsin), married Amelia Fox, and had twelve children. Farmer in Wisconsin.
- Joseph Lalor (b 8/12/1812 d c 1835 )
- Patrick Lalor (b 28 1814, d 5/6/1835)
- John Lalor (b June 1st 1815 d 25/6/1874 Roshorville, Kent), married (1) Ellen (Mary) Dunne (b 1820 d c 1850) and (2) Eleanor Bentley (1824-1889) had six children. . Customs controller in Kent, Eng.
- Mary Lalor (b March 25th 1817, d 30/8/1850 Dane Co, Wisc.) married Joseph Grierson Fox (b 1822) and settled in Oregon, Dane Co., Wisc. and had four children.
- Jerome Lalor (b 25/5/1818 Tenakill d 31/12/1898 Independence, Buchanan Co, Iowa) married Margaret Conklin (1836-1869); and had three children.
- Thomas Lalor (b 6/8/1820 Tenakill d 5/5/1864 Charlottesville, Virginia ) marr. Mary Cantwell (b 1834); dau Anna Maria. Died in the American Civil War.
- Matthew Lalor (b c 1822 d 16/8/1841)
- Richard Lalor (b Apr 1823 d 12/11/1893) Married Margaret Dunne (1829-1903)
- Catherine Lalor (b 5/4/1825, died young)
- Peter Fintan Lalor (b 4/2/1827 Tenakill d 9/2/1889 Melbourne, Australia)
Four children emigrated to the US (William, Jerome, Thomas & Mary), and one, Peter, to Australia.
Anne died in 1835.
