Jennie was born in 1857 to Wiley Dickenson and Mary A. Downey. She died in 1930 and is buried at Oakland and Fraternal Historic Cemetery Park in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Her first name may be Virginia as she is listed that way one one of the census records.
She married Abner McGehee on 25 October 1876 in Drew County, Arkansas.
