Biography
Lydia was born in Montreal, Canada 22 Mar 1834. Her parents were James Dewey 1808–1865 and Martha Patty Priest 1815–1897. They relocated to Louisville, New York about 1844, She married Michael Alexander Cline about 1866 in Massena, New York. They had 6 children, two who died young: Martha ("Mattie") Elizabeth Cline 1867–1947, Burton A. Cline 1869–1889, Webster Cline 1870–1877, Lynn ("Linnie") E. Cline 1876–1920, Herman E. Cline 1880–1884, and Nellie Cline 1885- After the death of Michael, she remarried in 1895 to Alva G. Lockwood. Lydia died in July of 1906.
NOTE: A sixth child is in the 1900 census: Nellie Cline Kingsley 1885–1906 Children other than Burton need profiles.
