Ebenezer Dewey, resident in the Amber hamlet of Otisco[1] was born on September 3, 1812[2] in either Otsego County[3] or Schoharie County,[4] New York. Ebenezer was a gunsmith[5] and watchmaker.[4] He passed away on March 24, 1888.[2]
